There are days when even the thought of showing up, of making progress, of doing the work….it just feels too much.
When the mountains you have to climb, and the lessons you’re supposed to learn: you would rather pack them away for another day.
On those days, it’s totally OK to hide in your room, draw the curtains, and wait it out.
This is also doing the work.
Whatever you choose to do on those days, you’re still moving forward. Even when it feels like you’re going backwards, you’re still here, alive, breathing.
